Zaguán defensivo de la torre de la Puerta Oriental de Begastri // Defensive vestibule of the tower of Begastri's Oriental Door.
Utilizado como embudo protector desde el que en el caso de superar la primera puerta los enemigos erán atacados, las excavaciones han puesto en valor la entidad y magnitud de las murallas y el baluarte defensivo que suponia este.

Torre de la Puerta Oriental de Begastri // Tower of Begastri's Oriental Gate:
Las dimensiones (en algunos punto 7x7 m) de la misma marcan la importancia defensiva del punto débil de la muralla que suponía una puerta. Desconociendo si la torre podía tener uso interior debido a que no ha sido excavada se plantea una consolidación con acabado de cubrición reversible para futuras excavaciones.
De la misma manera debido a su forma y ubicación la torre esta llamada a ser un elemento pregnante del yacimiento arqueológico.
Los elementos hallados en la excavación amplían el trasdós del muro a la línea marcada en planimetría. La parte posterior de la misma queda sin excavar y se pierde confundiéndose con la propia rezarpa de la muralla, por lo que solo se corrige la linea de la torre.
